The Library of the Department of Serbian with South Slavonic Languages was created in the time of Lyceum, and developed along with the Great School and the University. Its fund has about 130.000 books: over 85.000 monographic publications, 838 serial publications (over 26.000 volumes) and 919 vocabularies.
In addition to the Seminar Library, the library within the fund has legacies by: Vatroslav Jagić, Ljuba Stojanović, Živko Stojanović, Radosav Bošković, Mihajlo Stevanović, Bersilav Nikolić and the legacy of School of Pedagogy.
Most of the bibliographic data on monographic publications is available and searchable online (at: COBISS).
There are two librarians employed at the Library of the Department of Serbian with South Slavonic Languages: Ivana Spasojević and Tomislav Matić.
