Aleksandra V. Jovanovic is a Professor of English Language and Literature at the Faculty of Philology, University of Belgrade. She graduated from the Faculty of Philology, University of Belgrade and she gained M.A. and Ph.D. in English Literature at the Faculty of Philology in Belgrade. The title of her Ph.D. thesis is Greek Mythology in the Novels of John Fowles. Her research interests are mainly in the field of the postmodern literature and literary theory. She teaches English, Irish and Canadian literature at all levels of studies. She writes essays and articles concerning modern British, Irish, Canadian and American literature. Apart from English she speaks Spanish and Greek. She is one of the editors of the academic journal Belgrade BELLS, published by the Faculty of Philology, University of Belgrade.
