But his acting was superb! It didn't have to be happy, just consistent. thats why the show is special to me.

I wish the writer will tell us if Shin will just remain immortal till the end of time. I don't read Korean and so I do rely on DB quite a lot, to decide whether to start watching a drama or not. Frankly, Goblin is my first GY work and I watched CP after I started goblin and suffered from GY-withdrawal symptoms. /cries/ Seeing him 2x a week for almost 3 hrs was such a treat. He had a choice to find peace, it's not as if the choice was going to hell. This is one of those shows for me that was a lightning in a bottle- it touches so many grand themes about life and death and love, and sucked me each week into a different world with interesting perspectives on the human capability to love and forgive and shoulder on. At the same time, so grateful we got Goblin. In many ways, Quebec and that causeway/pier are spaces which we constantly return to again and again in the drama, spaces that increase in emotional significance. DAT is Deok Hwa's character didn't have any ending even though he was an important part in the story. Quite fitting.He was rewarded twice.
